Creating custom email templates on Superdesk allows you to tailor your communication with customers, enhancing your brand's voice and ensuring consistent and engaging emails. Accessing Email Templates

To get started, navigate to Messages > Email Templates in your Superdesk account. This section contains all the available email templates you can customize.

Editing an Existing Template

Select a Template: Click on the Edit button next to the template you want to modify.

Duplicate Template: To create a variation of an existing template, click the three dots icon at the bottom right and select Duplicate. The copied template will appear inactive, allowing you to make changes without affecting the original.

Understanding the Email Template Builder

When you open the email template builder, you'll see various tools and options to customize your email. Here's a breakdown of the basic features:

Top Navigation

  • Exit: Closes the email template builder.
  • Send Test: Sends a test email to a specified address to preview your changes.
  • Preview: Allows you to see how the email will look on both mobile and desktop devices.
  • Save Changes: Saves all modifications made to the email template.
  • Discard Changes: Cancels any changes made during the current session.

Global Settings and Styles

Section Settings

  • The address is pulled from your store settings.

  • Review Replies: Customize the section where you reply to customer comments.

  • Verify Email Address / Identity: Configure sections for verification emails.

Activating or Deleting Templates

Activate: To activate a duplicated (inactive) template, click the ellipsis icon and select Activate.

Delete: To delete an inactive template, use the Delete option from the ellipsis menu.
