# Superdesk

> Superdesk is a Shopify app platform for product reviews and shoppable Visual UGC. It helps merchants collect reviews, photos, and videos, organize customer content, connect that content to Shopify products, and publish social proof across their storefront.

## Visual UGC

Superdesk Visual UGC brings social, review, customer, and merchant media into one workflow so Shopify brands can curate content and publish shoppable galleries.

Supported content workflows include:

- A merchant's own Instagram posts and Stories.
- Instagram content where customers tag or mention the brand.
- Media associated with hashtags the merchant tracks.
- Photos and videos collected through product reviews.
- Customer contributions collected through online upload workflows.
- Merchant, creator, and campaign media uploaded directly.

The Visual UGC workflow is designed around four stages:

1. Collect content from supported sources.
2. Review, organize, approve, and manage usage rights.
3. Tag one or more Shopify products in an image or video.
4. Publish responsive shoppable galleries in relevant shopping contexts.

Shoppers can explore tagged products and continue to the corresponding Shopify product pages. Gallery experiences are designed for product pages, homepages, collection pages, landing pages, and editorial shopping contexts.

- Professional includes basic Visual UGC actions.
- Advanced and Premium include advanced Visual UGC tooling.

Superdesk provides a focused migration path for Shopify stores moving from Loox.
